Duties and Responsibilities

The Division of Biostatistics in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at University of Pennsylvania invites applications for two postdoctoral fellow positions in machine learning, AI and genetics models. The successful candidates will work on NIH-funded projects, with opportunities to work at the intersection of statistics, computer science, and medicine. Projects will focus on developing advanced statistical and AI methods for autism risk prediction and early intervention using EHR and genomics data.

Position Qualifications

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in biostatistics, computer sciences, bioinformatics, statistics, or other quantitative fields. Programming skills in Python and R are required. The ability to work independently is a must. Experience in genetic analysis is strongly desired but not required.
