Position Title: Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UW-Madison
Duties and Responsibilities: The Post-Doc will work with Dr. ZhengZheng Tang (https://tangzheng1.github.io/tanglab/), and her collaborators in the fields of statistical genetics, genomics, metagenomics/microbiome.
– Conduct independent and collaborative research projects
– Develop statistical methods and computational tools (mostly in R/C++)
– Perform simulation studies and real data analysis
– Interpret results and write manuscripts
Position Qualifications: • PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field
• Strong background in scientific research methodologies
• Proficiency in programming languages such as R or an equivalent
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Experience with genetic, genomics, or metagenomic data analysis is preferred but not required
Salary Range: Competitive and depends on research experience
