Position Title: Inaugural Director-Clinical and Data Coordinating Center
Duties and Responsibilities: Rutgers Health is seeking an experienced scientist to lead the Clinical and Data Coordinating Center (CDCC). This individual will procure, manage and coordinate NIH-funded and industry sponsored networks and multicenter trials and cohort studies. Additionally, he/she will leverage current staff and recruit database administrators, data managers, software developers, project managers, clinical monitors, scientists, and research administrators.
Position Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates must have substantial experience designing and leading large, extramurally funded, multicenter clinical research network projects, involving clinical trials, cohort studies, and/or registries. They must have experience working in cross-functional study teams, including those functions necessary for successful and innovative data coordinating centers, such as data management systems and operations, reporting for data monitoring committees, clinical research coordination and clinical monitoring, and quality control procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
They should have a track record of extramurally funded research in the conduct of clinical trials or cohort studies, and possibly methodologic research into approaches such as adaptive designs, methods for missing data, analytical procedures for causal inference, and statistical monitoring approaches.
