Position Title: Staff Biostatistician / Bioinformatician
Duties and Responsibilities: Key duties and responsibilities include performing statistical and bioinformatics analyses and preparing reports based on plans devised by faculty members; assisting in preparing manuscripts, grant proposals, and conference abstracts; staying up to date with statistical/bioinformatics methods and software tools relevant to cancer research; implementing assignments with excellence; working collaboratively with faculty and staff at KCI; and compiling information from clinical studies and reporting to ClinicalTrials.gov.
Position Qualifications: •Minimum Qualifications
1. Must have received an MS or PhD degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Statistics, Bioinformatics or a closely related discipline prior to the start date.
2. At least 2 years of experience with R programming for data analysis, demonstrating excellent proficiency. Any work experience gained during completion of an MS/PhD degree will be considered toward this requirement.
•Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in statistical/bioinformatics data analysis within the context of collaborative biomedical research.
2. Experience in using machine learning/AI models for biomedical data analysis.
