Duties and Responsibilities
Faculty are expected to teach, develop new courses, engage in interdisciplinary research, apply for external funding for their research, advise students, and contribute to translating research into action.
Position Qualifications
PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or a closely related quantitative discipline. Strong publication track record. Senior applicants would require a funding track record.
Your primary focus must be in one of the following areas:
• Health Data Science
• Artificial Intelligence (Applied to Health or Environment datasets)
• Biostatistics / Computational Statistics
• Epidemiology with a heavy machine learning/computational focus
The ideal candidate would be an AI / Data Science expert with experience in the application of high-dimensional data, machine learning, and AI to public health, medicine, healthcare, or environmental science datasets.
Note: Candidates without a publication track record in AI and data science applied to public health will not be considered.
