Duties and Responsibilities
A postdoctoral associate position will be offered by the Department of Biostatistics at Yale School of Public Health. He/She will be jointly mentored by Drs. Tassos Kyriakides and Shuangge (Steven) Ma and engaged in studies conducted at VA Cooperative Studies Program. He/She will utilize existing and develop and implement new and cutting-edge statistical methods for the design and analysis of clinical trials and observational studies on cancer and other diseases. Experience and interest in clinical trials, survival analysis, correlated data analysis, semiparametric analysis, and high-dimensional data will be preferred. Experience with managing large databases will be a plus but not required. Fluency in statistical software including, but not limited to, SAS and R, is preferred.
Position Qualifications
Candidates should have a recent doctoral degree in statistics, biostatistics, or a related area.
