The School of Data Science (SDS) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen is seeking exceptional candidates for multiple tenured or tenure-track faculty positions across all academic ranks starting in July 2026 or later.
SDS was established on July, 2020. Located in Shenzhen, the innovation hub of China, SDS is committed to providing students with a vibrant and diverse environment to fully develop their potentials and to cultivating top innovative talents with a global perspective. Our goal is to become the leading teaching and research center of Data Science in the Greater Bay Area and worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is expected to teach effectively at both undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise graduate and undergraduate research projects, establish and maintain an active research program, and contribute service to the Statistics Division and the School of Data Science.
Position Qualifications
The SDS welcomes experts in all areas of Statistics, Biostatistics, Stochastic Modelling, and Quantum Information Theory. We are looking for Ph.D. holders with strong methodological foundations who are passionate about teaching diverse student groups. Junior candidates should demonstrate strong research potential, while senior candidates should have proven high-level accomplishments in teaching and research.
