Duties and Responsibilities: The Department of Statistics at Stanford University seeks applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in any area of Statistics or Probability, broadly understood. Applicants should exhibit the potential to run a world-leading independent research program and should possess good communication skills and a commitment to teaching and mentoring. They will be expected to teach and advise students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Position Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a Ph.D in statistics, data science, computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline at the time of appointment.
