Position Title: Assistant Professor of Statistics
Duties and Responsibilities: Juniata College, a nationally ranked liberal arts college of 1,300 students located in the scenic Allegheny Mountains of central Pennsylvania, invites applications for the one-year fixed-term position of Assistant Professor of Statistics to begin August 2025. The teaching load for this position will be around 21 credit hours for the academic year.
We are looking for someone with demonstrated excellence as a classroom instructor who can teach statistics and possibly data science courses. Experience with R and the use of technology in teaching statistics and data science courses is a definite plus.
Position Qualifications: Preferably, candidates will have a Ph.D. in statistics, mathematics, data science, or a related field.
Experience with R and the use of technology in teaching statistics and data science courses.
