As a newly established School of Statistics and Data Science (SSDS) in
Southeast University located in Jiangsu Province of China, we are now seeking
exceptional scholars to join us as Assistant/Associate/Full Professors in
Statistics，machine Learning，Biostatistics, Financial Statistics ，Data Science
and other related fields. Southeast University is a prestigious institution with a
long history and is part of China’s 985 Project. The goal of SSDS is to integrate
statistical faculties across different areas (mathematical statistics, biostatistics,
econometrics, machine learning and AI, etc.), producing innovative
methodological research and engaging in high-quality interdisciplinary

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professors Jiashun
Jin at SSDS, focusing on the fields of statistics, machine learning and data
science is geared towards national needs in big data strategy . The research will
specifically involve developing new tools for anysis of complex social network
and text data ,and for high-dimensional data analysis.
Applicants must hold a
PhD in Statistics or related fields. Strong statistical, computational, and
communication skills are highly desired.
