Postdoctoral Fellow in Biostatistics

Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking an outstanding postdoctoral fellow to work on developing statistical methodology and software for complex biomedical data, such as imaging data, genetic/genomic data, and longitudinal data. These methods will have broad applications in areas such as neurodegenerative diseases, mental disorders, and pediatric cancer. As a fellow, you will work with Dr. Li's group and collaborators to develop innovative statistical methods for imaging genetics and other data science projects that are motivated by the cutting edge of biomedical research. You will also have the opportunity to work on impactful studies directed by leaders in the fields of biostatistics/statistics and biomedical sciences both within and outside the institution.

Position Qualifications

A recent Ph.D. in biostatistics/statistics or closely related field is required. Strong background in imaging data analysis, functional and high-dimensional data analysis, statistical learning, statistical genetics and bioinformatics are all considered as a plus but not required. Initial appointment is for two years. Applicants must have a strong computational background and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
