Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Duties and Responsibilities

We are recruiting postdoctoral research fellows for development of statistical/machine learning methods and algorithms, with applications to clinical evidence generation using real-world data, drug repositioning, learning health system, and large language models motivated applications.
Examples of areas of particular interest include (but are not limited to): (1) Federated/transfer learning algorithms and inference; (2) Counterfactual analyses; (3) Machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling using multi-site data; (4) Clinical evidence generation using synthetic data.

Position Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Epidemiology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Strong theoretical training in statistics and computing (R and Python) are desired.
Excellent communication skills and good track record of writing scientific papers.
Experience in statistical theory and methods development, machine learning, and comparative effectiveness research is preferred.
The position is available immediately and for up to three years.
