Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to work under the joint supervision of Dr. Yifei Sun and Dr. Yize Zhao (Yale University). The research will span a variety of projects related to Alzheimers’ disease, with a primary focus on developing innovative statistical and machine learning methods. The research projects will include: 1) Analyzing individualized biomarker trajectories and their genetic underpinnings in Alzheimer's disease, using observational studies and electronic health records that are naturally subject to various sampling biases. 2) Dynamically predicting complex, time-to-event, and longitudinal outcomes in the context of Alzheimer's disease. 3) Integrating diverse data sources for comprehensive Alzheimer's disease biomarker analysis.

The primary responsibilities of this position encompass developing these novel methods, their implementation in software, analyzing real-world data, and contributing to manuscript writing. The role offers a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful, cutting-edge research that could significantly impact our understanding and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.

Position Qualifications

Candidates must have a PhD degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a closely related discipline. Successful candidates should have solid training in statistical methods and excellent computational skills (e.g., R, C++, Python).
