The Department of Statistics and Data Sciences (SDS) at the University of Texas at Austin is soliciting applications for a postdoctoral fellow to work on COVID-19 data collection and analysis. Prior experience with observational study design and execution are desired, in addition to strong data management/analysis and communication skills. The postdoc will be supervised by Professor Kate Calder and will collaborate with members of the university’s Proactive Community Testing Program and other biostatisticians/epidemiologists. Opportunities for participation in related methodological research will be provided, depending on the interest of the fellow.
A PhD in statistics/biostatistics, epidemiology, or the quantitative social sciences is desired.
