Postdoctoral Research Fellow
MGH is the largest research hospital in the United States with an annual research budget of nearly one billion dollars. The mission of MGH Biostatistics is to engage in transdisciplinary collaborations involving quantitative methods in public health and medicine. The
Biostatistics team includes 35 members (15 faculty) who are deeply embedded in collaborative research projects across more than twenty different application domains including Cancer, Cardiology, General Internal Medicine, Global Health, Neurology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry,
Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and Surgery.
The MGH Biostatistics and the Department of Medicine, Harvard Medical School seek candidates with a PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics for two (2) post-doctoral research fellowships. The postdoctoral fellows will join a highly collaborative team of investigators to develop methods in statistical genetics and/or methods for precision medicine applications using electronic health record (EHR) data.
Doctoral degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or a related field. Strong theoretical training in statistics, proficiency with R and excellent communication skills are required.
