Duties and Responsibilities

The Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resource Facility at MCC is seeking a senior biostatistician to work on collaborative projects for translational and clinical investigations (predominantly) as well as basic science and cancer prevention and control efforts. Job duties include 1) providing biostatistical expertise in study design (early phase cancer clinical trials); 2) providing consultation in and execution of data analysis, report writing and study implementation; 3) providing biostatistical throughput services (eg. data management of clinical trials, critical input on eCRF development & SOPs for data entry and management); 4) participate in collaborative research efforts.

Position Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferably in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field
• Strong clinical data management and statistical programming skills (SAS and R)
• Experience in handling, processing and analyzing cancer clinical trials data.
• Experience in design and analysis of phase I & II cancer clinical trials
• Demonstrated skills in biostatistics
• Excellent teamwork, communication and documentation skills

Minimum requirements are a Master’s degree plus 5 years related experience. Prefer a Master’s degree plus 6 or more years related experience in Statistics/Biostatistics.
