Company Information: The Department of Mathematics and the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of North Texas invite applications for a joint tenure-track assistant professor position in biostatistics, statistics, or a closely related field. The appointment is expected to begin in Fall 2019.

Position Title: Assistant Professor of Biostatistics

Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the position are to pursue research and teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including biostatistics.

Position Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment. Preference will be given to applicants with
• Postdoctoral training
• Undergraduate and/or graduate level teaching experience
• A strong interest in interdisciplinary research
