Position Title: Postdoc Fellow

Duties and Responsibilities: This position is partly supported by the Pacific Blue Cross Health Informatics Laboratory at SFU and
an NSERC Strategic Partnership grant. This postdoc is welcomed to spend some time working on insurance fraud investigation at Pacific Blue Cross, a British Columbia’s leading health insurance
provider.

Position Qualifications: The successful applicant will have a PhD in Statistics, Computing Science, or a related field. He/she
will have strong skills in statistics, computing and mathematics, and a demonstrated record of
research. The term of the fellowship is up to two years, subject to the continuing availability of funds. It can
start as soon as a suitable candidate has been found, and the opportunity will remain open until
then.

Salary Range: based on applicants’ qualification and will be very competitive
